Barbados return/onward ticket necessary?

Ok guys. I'm flying with BUDDY PES (a cheap ticket you get from people who work at an airline. You fly stand-by with the airline. And you can only confirm your flight 3 days before.) So that being said, when I enter Barbados, I won't have a "return ticket". How serious is this??? Do they actually ask for your RETURN ticket at immigration when you enter Barbados? Please answer according to experience. Thank you!!!
