Can anyone tell me the reputation that these towns in New Jersey have (in Somerset and Middle Counties)?

I am looking for a lot to build a home. I found two lots. One in Middle County (East Brunswick) and the other is in Somerset County (Bridgewater). Which town has really good schools, very low crime, is upscale, has good restaurants and shopping? What is the first thing that comes to mind when you think of East Brunswick? How about Bridgewater? Let me know. Thanx.
