No one has answered! Please Help! ankle problem!?
If it is a chronic ankle sprain then surgery might be the best answer. You would first want to get an MRI to see if there is ligament damage. Some of the pain also might be coming from scar tissue caused by rolling your ankle. There is a surgery called a Brostrom where the doctor connects your ligament tighter so you will not roll your ankle. If there is scar tissue then you may also want to have an ankle arthroscopy where the doctor will remove all the scar tissue in your ankle. You should also see a orthopedic doctor just to make sure that your trainer gave you the right diagnosis.
