North Carolina Unemployment Employer Appeal?

Does anyone know if NC continues to pay the claimant if the employer appeals the decision. Or is it held until the decision. Seems to vary from state to state from what Im reading. Thanks And also How do I comment to thank those that have contributed to some of my questions
