MY FRICKING IPOD IS BROKEN!!!! Can someone help me fix it please pls answer this question!!?

I have an 80GB iPod clic (black). Today I was gonna charge it and it was on the hold thingy, and I forgot to put it back to unlock so I plugged it in while it was on hold and it doesnt charge when you do that, so I unplugged it and moved the hold slider but it didnt come off hold and I was pressing stuff and was like frozen and I couldnt shut it off or anything!! Now its run out of batteries cause it was on and i cant turn it back on and omg if I dont get it fixed im stealing one from someone. Pls help me pls
